I have decided to dedicate an entire page to RETscreen
International.
RETScreen is the mother of all power calculators and it is free to download from the Canadian Government.
The program requires a newer version of Microsoft Excel to be installed on your computer.
I recently attended
an introduction to the program. I was amazed at the amount of data the program contained as well as the complexity of projects
you can complete.
However, the program may be a bit too complex for some people. I will attempt to create a version
of the Alternate Power Calculator that will be partly powered by modules of RETScreen. I.e. RETScreen has a vast database
of appliances and the power that they consume.
All programs that I make using RETScreen modules will follow the license
rules of RETscreen International.
